Faint feeling his personality, Pink, a rock star, is made a protective wall behind which he initially believed to find refuge. But that wall eventually stifle growth and, alone and unhappy, to the gates of madness. He then reviewed the important elements of his life: the death of his father in the war, his overprotective mother, castrating,bullying teachers, then the failure of his marriage and diving into drugs, many bricks in the wall, or elements that have filled the gaps.This examination of conscience leads him to his autoprocès.
If one were to impersonate a man of cinema both author, talented, original, music lover, eccentric and committed, no other filmmaker could win with as much evidence that Alan
Parker.
Parker realizes that this is one of the most beautiful works of contemporary musical theater.
The Wall, by its adaptation of the saucy rock album (same name) of Pink Floyd, is still today one of the emblematic figures of the "cult".
