Summary :
This work made of shifting materials and colours is meant to catch the eye. It shows the suggestive shape of certain movements by retaining, like an echo, the imprint of the trajectory created by the most meaningful of these images. The computer system used is the SMC system developed by Jean-Francois Colonna from the Lactamme laboratory of the Ecole Polytechnique: this technique can freeze an image, digitise it (a technological feat which was a first in 1980) and colourise it directly. The programme used to process the images was chosen by Dominique Belloir.
