CA COULE DE SOURCE is the second part of a trilogy that began in 1992 with NOS JOURS SONT COMPTES. The theme of that first film was time (the past, the present and the future). This second video tackles the question of fate. Are we predestined beings, whose life is determined in advance by a supreme and irrevocable law which seems to lead the course of events towards a certain end ? Can we change our future by acting on the present ? Is it an idle dream to think of thwarting fate and becoming one's own master ? Invaded by a persistent feeling of confinement in front of fate, this work chooses fatalism.
