LIKE MARLENE IN THE SAHARA DESERT. This is the self-portrait of the Cinémathèque de Toulouse, a female "phantom" who appears as a rich provincial lady of cinematographic heritage. However, the "rumours" about the coming death of cinema worry her so much she loses the sunshade that protects her from dust. Halfway between a monologue and a dialogue with the spectator, her story comes with a long wandering through some of her most secret recesses. Bit by bit, she reveals her history.
