Those are faces which have been transformed, manipulated and shut up. Framed very closely, they give the impression of a laboratory of Man. These faces look like one another but still not completely. We happen to wonder : Is it one face or several ones ? Male or female? The film is slow, the characters slowly move their faces one way or the other, they are compassionate, hopeless. They are watching us, following us with their eyes, expecting nothing.
