Summary :
Tokyo. The Sumida river runs along the popular district of asakusa, a suspended two floors motorway is next to it over all its length. Below, on the banks, rocked by cars humming and dioxin acidity, a liminary zone, unsuable, at most for car park. There, an interminable line of huts made out of paperboard covered with blue canvas sheets seems fixed, only crossed by some shades, almost human, would say one.
We are in the anti-city of homeless. Here come to fail the misfits of the modern word, between exile and asylum. They make a living resselling street collected empty cans and paperboards to wholesalers.
On their shoulders, the weight of a work, the feeling of fault and their damned destiny. In their mouth, the abstract machine of Japan, social relationships, their past, and a double world, one in which they livre and one they only pace. In the end, theirs speeches draw a new picture of Tokyo, of the normal and normalized world seen from the lowerpart. Trelling from the margins, they speak about the center.
