During the broadcasting of the football game between Chile and Ecuador, which counted for the preliminary heat of the '82 World Cup, the fall of one of the Chilean players caused a massive intrusion of abandoned and piled-up bodies, like ancient fossiles, in the photographic memory of papers and magazines. The postures of the bodies are variations on Michelangelo's "Pieta".
