Summary :
In KULESHOV'S EFFECT - The production of sense, experiments with montage tell us about two qualities of visual rhetoric : the impression of reality that moving images create is a sum of fragmented and scattered data. Thus the spectator is led to give coherence and meaning to the tale himself. Second, the eclipse of visual rhetoric and the falsity of representation allow a vision that pretends to be objective and therefore to create stories, or History.
The videowork "Kuleshov’s efect - the production of sense" goes in that guideline and play with the meaning that geografical and ideological changes could have in my own existence and with the induced sense that media makes on the sense of reality.
