Djoliba is the Bambara name that is given to the river Niger in Mali ; Djenné and Mopti are two beautiful cities lying on its banks. Like a hypnotic song which takes you through squares and markets where people continue on their way without looking round. Like the voice of Muezzin, a simple prayer, a breath broken at dawn.
