Pascal Lièvre, on Jean-Christophe Arcos' invitation, makes a video during the Flash Cocotte queer evening on September 11th 2011 at the Espace Pierre Cardin in Paris. He proposes those who are here, and who wish it, to say, facing camera, a few words of a text excerpt from The Straight Mind by Monique Wittig. Despite the obvious constraints of sound and light, it seemed interesting to the artist to get these words - written for the first time in 1982 under the title The category of sex and resumed later in The Straight Mind And Other Essays – pronounced in this festive place.
