This film uses the ancient device of the pinhole, techniques of the first captures of the real, to propose an unusual perception of the light of the desert, the men and the machines which inhabit it.
The route, that of iron ore, is inscribed on Mauritanian territory, from the quarries of Zouerate to the ocean, aboard the longest train in the world. In Nouadhibou, the beaches strewn with shipwrecks announce the end of the trip while the precious resource is piling up on the departing freighters.
