Summary :
A "catch" is a captured body. A body - human or animal - that doesn't want to be caught.
A body that sets to sea in hope of a better life.
It is a body caught in the net of circumstance, choice and its own limitations.
The net clings to the skin.
It is a body that swims, floats, drowns or finds it's promised land.
CATCH finds its inspiration in the consideration of the (female) body as a catch in myriad situations, (most significantly migration.)
It is filmed and performed by the artist, permitting the spectator entrance to the intimate space of the protagonist, immersed in endless dialogue between capture, containment and the quest for freedom.
