Summary :

A Same Summer

In the same month of 2016, a 5-year-old child injured in a bombing hit the headlines of the international press as well as the five world records reaped by the game  “Pokemon Go". Information on a real war seemed to be placed on the same scale of values as an advertisement for a virtual war. With her video " A Same Summer ", Veronique Sapin juxtaposes these two pieces of information as they left traces in her mind.
 
Taking an almost three years step back from these events, the obscene side, resulting from the juxtaposition of two opposite types of emotions, takes on another meaning. It is not so much the images themselves, nor the concurrence of the two events that bear this feeling, it is humanity as it behaves by generating this type of media confrontation that becomes obscene.
