She was awarded the Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship (1992), the Grand Prix Video de Création of the Société Civile des Auteurs Multimedia (1996 and 2001) as well as an impressive list of prizes in international festivals including the First Prizes in the video festivals of Locarno (90 and 95), Vigo (94 and 01), Australia (89) …

Her work has been shown extensively in 35 different countries, broadcast on television (PBS, WDR and ARTE) and shown in many cinemas and museums including the National Film Theater (London), the Balie cinema (Amsterdam), Filmhaus (Koln), Reina Sofia Museum (Madrid), Museu d'Arte Moderna (Rio), Ludwig Museum (Koln) and The MOMA in NYC.
