Carlos Motta is a New York based Colombian artist, graduate of the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program, with an MFA from Bard College and a BFA from The School of Visual Arts, all in New York. His work has been widely exhibited in US and abroad in solo exhibitions at: Real Art Ways, Hartford, CT (2006), Kevin Bruk Gallery, Miami (2006 & 2004) ; Winklemann/Plus Ultra and Schroeder Romero Gallery, New York (2006) ; rum46, Aarhus, Denmark (2006) ; Alianza Francesa, Bogotá, Colombia (2004 ) ; Alonso Garcés Galería, Bogotá, Colombia (2004) and La Corte Arte Contemporanea, Florence, Italy (2002).
