media artist, videographer, visual artist, actor, director, producer

Media artist working in Tokyo, New York, and Amsterdam. He has created numerous single-channel and collaborative installation works which capture moments of unconscious connections with the environment. His works have been presented at the Reina Sofia Museum Madrid, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the Museum of Modern Art New York, the German Federal Museum Bonn, The Venice Biennale Xenografia “93, ICC Intercommunication Center, Tokyo, as well as numerous festivals world-wide, and have been awarded in Locarno, Oberhausen, and Osnabrueck.

His most recent solo shows include “WHITE”, a DVD exhibition at Ishizaka Art in Tokyo, “LUMINA” (collaboration with C.M. Judge) at the Musee Chateau, Annecy, France, as well as commissioned video installations on the Sea of Japan for Art Front Gallery, Tokyo. Other recent commissions include “Ground Zero”, a 3-channel video installation for the World-Wide Video Festival / Melkweg, Amsterdam, and “The Dutch Touch” (with Ingeborg Houwen), a comic performance video, for De Badcuyp, Amsterdam.
