Daniele Segre (Alessandria, 1952) began his career as a street photographer. He has spent more than twenty years telling the story of conditions in Italy in fiction films and documentaries. In 1988 he founded I Cammelli in Turin, a production house and school of social video documentation. Since 1996 he has been working as an instructor in the program of audiovisual production at the National Film School in Rome.
