Summary :
LES BRUITS BLANCS (white noise) has two poles : the Parisian ring road with its urban landscape, and the flow of a river (the Saint Laurent) that surrounds Montreal. Two island-like spaces are thus delimited. There is a tension between two worlds: a landscaped urban area and an urbanized natural area. The soundtrack consists of white noise and real noise, filtered and mingled, without any relation to the sequences of images.
