Summary :
Between two colours, there is nothing. Gestures leave traces, which little by little build up coloured surfaces. The surfaces overlap like layers of skin. They define materials : skin, sand, sky... Present and absent, the surfaces of colours are light. The glass surface of the television screen swallows everything. Between two colours there is nothing. The video unfolds in waves, each time with two simultaneous gestures, two colour fields which spread out across the other surfaces. The colours work their way towards each other until they meet, and then stop. Here, there is the sky, the sea, the skin, vegetation, the earth, the "palette". Without any tool, without a brush, only its trace, its betrayal : a brush without a brush. The silence of the tape makes all the off-screen sounds present, makes them absent from the video. Time becomes weighty, the colours stretch out in time, matter unfolds slowly, up to the last wave.
