Summary :
The man is facing the tree, they exchange softness and tenderness. the bird approaches, the man and the bird look at each other. the man finds peace only in another universe: nature. He flees and rests in his world, his dreams and his imagination. He is unaware of the glance of the others who observe him with mistrust, rejection and sometimes ferocity. He sleeps. He rises in the grass, He does not distinguish reality from the dream any more. He moves towards the city which oppresses him, strangles him. He is rejected by other people who do not accept him any more and can’t bear him any more in their company. He is an "insane dreamer", naive, childish. He became a stranger in this modern place which he does not want to resemble. Finally, he is rejected from his work and from the city which impose their rules of modernity and where he does not belong any more. He finds himself alone in the street. the man is seen declining but he finds inner peace in his universe, another universe.
