Summary :
INTERMEDE is the result of a three years' research into the simultaneous editing of performances linked to daily life. In the early years of television, the interlude was conceived as a neutral film placed between two programs. Here that object becomes autonomous, and neutrality is replaced by parody. INTERMEDE is composed of three performances: Florence DOUILLY's choreographic movement (July 1998), Hubert DUQUESNOY's urban intervention (May 1st, 1998), Eric GHESQUIERE's and Violaine PILLOT's movement close to the bed (July 1998).
