Summary :
I stopped in the middle of my work to give another meaning to images meant to define a sacred rite. This work was created for an installation with two monitors : the first was to contain images of a birth, and the second, a single-channel tape which was later to be called N SACREE. I wanted to show a paradox : a joyful event (the continuity of life) and the ritual (the end). This paradox ends at the moment of birth. (Brahim BACHIRI)
