Summary :
A new kind of abstract film, NUIT can be interpreted as the exploration of an ever-changing space, filled with curves that move ceaslessly, either slowly (to the point of stillness) or extremely fast, but always unexpectedly. Half-suggested forms appear, metamorphose or multiply in a weird visual logic. A unique world is thus created, which alternately belongs to the realm of water, air or plants. The editing rhythm is sustained by a powerful musical composition that reinforces the vividness and mystery of the film. NUIT is entirely digitally-made, with an equal use of automatic forms generators, in computer images (procedural animation) and techniques of image composition and processing. The software was entirely created by the authors in order to master the tool completely and to create original images.
