Summary :
These images were recorded in March 2002 in Kathmandu and in the valley of Langtang (Gosainkund and Helambu), in Nepal.

Mixing video images to super 8 shots, heterogeneous textures and durations, the framework of this film made in Nepal is that of a progression towards the country’s remote lands, from the first contacts with the town of Kathmandu when landing to the summits of the Himalayan range.
Alternating with these images, in the very heart of the film, a text written on black panels evokes the recent massacre of the royal family along with bits of the current political vicissitudes of a country at the margin.
The film builds up on the screen as a discovery does.
