Summary :
Between the end of the East and the end of the West, there is merely a little sea (Christopher Colombus, 1492). Five hundred years after the first crossing of the ocean, the ship "Queen Elizabeth 2" is the last of all transatlantic liners. 1 800 passengers and 1 100 crew board the world's largest ship. They are locked up together for five days at sea. In front of this unchanging landscape, everyone is left sailing in their own inner world. This very well written and directed documentary describes the events and atmosphere of the last liner that links Europe to America.
