Summary :
This documentary-fiction uses images filmed by a tourist to illustrate what Eder SANTOS means by "the domestic language" of super-8 images. These, with accompanying notes by a 78-year old Brazilian tourist, through trembling sights of Paris, Rome and London, show the extent to which images reduce the cultural experience to tourist stereotypes or simple family souvenirs. SANTOS criticizes tourists for "the lack of comprehension of the language of the image and its subject".
