Summary :
The first one of the series The End. Only the short shots showing bullet impacts on the doors, the furniture, the lamps, the windows were kept. The bodies hit and wounded are not enough to satisfy the need for destruction of the avenging and deadly hero, therefore the whole world becomes an object of massacre

The end, series
Under this broad title are gathered three short videos made from the same films, mainstream American thrillers of which I only kept the gunfights scenes.
In recent films, these scenes of extreme violence are characterized by a disjointed succession of very short shots: gunshots, bullet impacts on different parts of the set, characters hit, blood spurts, bodies followed by the camera during their fall (sometimes in slow-motion, the only moment when death is stylized).
The extreme speed of the editing cancels any understanding of the facts and acts as a visual and sound charge which directly targets the viewer's senses. He becomes almost blind and deaf. The four videos form a sort of catalogue of the different types of shots previously mentioned. The deconstruction and reconstruction of these shots make sense when presented in an installation which play with time and space.
These videos can also be screen on single-channel video.
