Summary :
REM - Studies in sleep behaviour, is a documentary on the gestation of mental images-dreams, of imagination and on their echo in the moving images in mass media : cinema and TV. It is therefore based on two approaches :
1) The scientific and parascientific research on dreams and the brain’s behaviour in sleep : studies carried out in the laboratory on the behaviour and the measurement of states of nocturnal consciousness, studies of psychoanalysis, of Control Dream and Tibetan Yoga Dream.
2) The relationship between the aesthetics of moving images and dreams. Dream as a source of imagination and sight as the water of this source. As a framework, scenario or black box of this projection : the brain, entity, organ or energy capable of creating its own work.
