Summary :
Episode 1:"The carpet of Krakow or how Christians and Muslims shared the paradise"
The edge of a carpet badly cut? An alphabet that does not mean anything? Letters that replace images? Each time a work; an enigma; a piece of civilization. The idea of this series of films came from a quite simple observation: more than any museum collection, that of Islam arts reveals a vast, deep and largely unknown civilization. And more than any other, it is largely composed with everyday objects, that is to say, works that are on the border of religious and profane; of history of art and that of the civilizations; of the peoples and their mentalities.
Each episode will have as principle the discovery of an object. A thematic will arise from a work that the episode, through other works in the museum, will see to question.
