Summary :
"Japon Noir" is the meeting of a travel diary and a musical score. The music by Christian Vasseur, "Paysages", and the video travel diary by Bernard Lallemand in Japan, made during a stay in November 2010. The events of March 2011 in Japan have affected the reason for being of this travel diary. It had become somehow obsolete. How to show Japan after the tsunami and the nuclear disaster? It is here plunged in darkness. The red sun became black. The twilight of a brilliant civilization? An experience at the limit of the visual perception. It should be noted that this is the second time that their common passion for Japan gets Bernard Lallemand and Christian Vasseur together. The first time was for a performance from the sound travel diary by Bernard Lallemand and the text "Un océan de désespoir" by Giampaolo Visetti about Fukushima with a live musical improvisation by Christain Vasseur.
