In art, humour is the only thing that counts for me, even if it is mediocre, or just a stab at humour. I tend to make jokes, and I have never been doing anything but that. Humour in art (even when it seems to lack interest) has the main quality and merit, precisely, of being funny... it is self-sufficient." (Jacques LIZENE). Such could be the summary of this documentary made by J. LIZENE with the collaboration of Anne AIMEE, presenting some of today's Belgian artists, among whom: Paul PAQUAY, Eric DUYCKAERTS, Garett LIST, Marie Jo LAFONTAINE... and the little master, Jacques LIZENE himself.
